Greetings,
I have been diagnosed with a bout of ringworm on the inside of my arm, directly above the armpit. Currently taking a couple of ointments (I know one of which is an antibiotic) prescribed by my PCP and hopefully it will clear up soon.
In the meantime, sweat is Mr. Worm's best friend and while my doctor did not explicitly state to not be active I am at a loss.
My question to you is maybe more personal than medical, but I really don't want to wait around for this ringworm to clear up. I want to engage in strength training and some striking classes (omitting BJJ due to infection). Would you consider engaging in these activities a significant detriment to the healing process?
Utilized the search function and did not see anything, apologies if this has been covered.
Thanks!
