Hi Doctors,
Ive been doing the novice linear progression for the last month and was wondering if my weight gain (and planned weight gain) look about right - In the book Mark suggests that weight gain, just like strength increase, is ideally front loaded and so I have tried to account for this in the initial stages of the program (by gaining a significant amount of weight).
I started at around 77 kg at 5ft 11 and am thinking I should get to around 92kg (and hopefully grow another inch) by next year - I'm happy to modify these goals if i'm off but felt that it was best to check in before I either gain too much or front load too much.
also I was wondering if you would recommend weighing twice a day?
Thanks for your time,
(attached you will find a scatter graph of both my plotted weight gains so far and monthly goal data points that show my current ideal rate of progression alongside a pdf with the raw data)
