  • Modifying calorie intake during program

    Hi doc, I have a question regarding calorie intake while you are following a program where volume/tonnage change week to week, if I'm bulking and let's say I have a 500 calorie surplus should I lower the surplus in the week where I'm doing less volume (even when it's a high/mod stress weeks)? And the same goes the other way around, if I'm cutting should I increase the deficit in those weeks?

    If you're trying to lose weight I would recommend staying in a calorie deficit and in general, I would not recommend altering your dietary intake week to week on the basis of forecasted exercise.

      Thabks doc, appreciate it, was hesitant on doing that the latter weeks of the Bridge.
