I'm looking for a protein supplement for an elderly relative who needs to be on a low-sodium diet. I know there is naturally occurring sodium in milk. Is there sodium in your Whey Supplement? If so, how much? Thanks.

Yes, there is 55mg sodium per serving, which makes it technically a "low sodium" food (<140mg/serving) and close to a very low sodium food (<35mg/serving).
We don't add any sodium to our whey, however there is ~100mg/cup in milk so it's hard to avoid.

Thanks very much. I thought there was a good chance that there would be some but it is helpful to know the mg because the person wants to keep a habitual food items that are fairly high in sodium, but needs protein in the breakfast meal which has been included only a small amount of protein. Finding a source of breakfast protein that still keeps the sodium low is a challenge. We thought maybe a powder might be the way to go.
I just thought of one more question: I assume that muscle protein synthesis is needed to maintain/strengthn cardiac muscle as well as skeletal muscle?.Is that correct? (Trying to find as many ways as possible to "sell" some needed dietary changes.)Comment
