  • Energy / Carb Gels and Mixes?

    These seem primarily targeted at the running crowd, but as workouts can get long and hot I'm wondering if the BBM team has an opinion on these products. Products like UCan Superstarch energy powder and GU Roctane are filling my ad spaces as I search for more items that aren't pure barbell related.

    Is there a use for these types of products or is it just expensive sugar water?

    We do not recommend these products or similar strategies for resistance training or workouts <3-4 hours.
