BPA question

Hello, lately I've been prepping lots of chicken and lentils to always have protein on hand and I store them in ziploc freezer bags. Is there any impact plastic could have on health? The bag says BPA-free but there seems to be some hysteria about it around on the internet.

I would not be concerned about storing your food as you describe.
