I'm 17 and have been lifting for around 22 months. 5 weeks ago I started experiencing shoulder pain after a heavy bench press session.
When I was warming up I felt a sudden weakness in my right shoulder (no pain). I went on with the bench session (stupid I know) and the weakness got much worse as the weights got heavier. I felt no pain during the training. When I woke up the next day my shoulder hurt a lot. I couldn't lift my arm without pain.
A week later the pain was almost gone, and I tried benching again but I woke up with the same pain again the next day.
Next week I was overhead pressing as this didn't produce any pain. But after I was done with my top set I racked the bar on my shoulders (like a front squat), and I immediately felt a lot of pain in my shoulder and again I couldn't move my arm. I couldn't even lie down on my back without shoulder pain. Luckily in the afternoon the next day the pain started to subside and I could move my arm somewhat painfree.
I decided to rest my shoulder completely and take a whole week off from the gym. But unfortunately I slept in a bad position and I hurt my shoulder again. It was the same pain as before and it subsided somewhat the next day.
This week I have pretty much no shoulder pain in my daily life, I can move it freely without pain. The problem is when I tighten my lats as if doing bent rows, deadlifts, chin ups or bench pressing the front my shoulder hurts especially if I raise my arm out in front of me (like the lockout position of a bench press). I can overhead press an empty barbell pain free but if I add even light weight this also hurts. I can still do low bar squats painfree somehow, but pretty much every other movement hurts, even curls hurt.
Excuse the mediocre english and long explanation..
