  • Not sure how to continue Rehab

My low back right now is getting worse. There honestly does not seem to be any precursor to the pain at all, which makes training very inconsistent. Almost every free weight squat and deadlift variation I've tried now has given me a problem at some point. Some of my 'sessions' have included going to the gym, doing one rep of the empty bar then having such pain in my back from that one rep that I can barely walk out of the gym. The only thing I seem to be able to consistently do is Leg Press.

Considering it's been nearly 6 months of either no progress or regression, what should I do next?

Sorry to hear about your situation. We'd need a consult to give individual advice and work through your situation. On a positive note, being able to leg press is still a win, albeit I get may not be the exact type of lower body training you want to do right now.
