  • Squat Sticking Point

I'm tall and long-limbed. My sticking point in the squat (particularly any single at or above RPE8) is about half way up the ascent--when my upper and lower legs are at a roughly 90 degree angle relative to one another. Is there a squat variation you'd suggest to work on this? I was thinking about a pin squat with the pins set roughly at that sticking point, but I'm open to other suggestions.

    As always, thanks.

This is a normal sticking point for the squat and is unlikely to be fixed by any particular variation short of training the squat more. So, I'd alter programming if needed.
