I would not advise using straps in your situation. And yes, some asymmetry is typical for someone using a mixed grip. This is why you might use the hook grip instead.

I really need to change my gym, im not even allowed to bring chalk
Is using strap also an option or you think that mixe grip are better?
Also I've seen in the past that mixed grip tends to have me bring the barbell unbalanced is it typical?

Limiting your deadlift progress by insisting on using a double overhand grip is silly. There is nothing “wrong” with using a mixed grip. If you’d prefer to avoid it, learn the hook grip. Also ensure you’re using a quality barbell with chalk on your hands.

Weak DL Point
Hello the weak point of my deadlift is that i cannot grip it, it literally slide out of my hand
I am not sure on how to fix it as i was told not to use mixed grip as much as possible
