That is an individual decision, based on the risks and benefits. Highly competitive lifters may be willing to accept a bit more form breakdown, whereas others may not. For general trainees, I like the idea of "technique RPE" - in other words, as you alluded, RPE 9 = one more rep with good technique. -

Well, it's hard to see your technique from here.
That said, if it's really bad- you should reset on form. If it's passable- keep going. You're probably not at any increased risk of a training related injury if your form is ~80% good, but taking time to go lighter for no real reason seems like a mistake.Leave a comment:

A missed rep is literally a missed rep. However it is wise to keep tabs on your form and if you know that you're not lifting well, you need to moderate your progress and fix things. What exactly needs to be done would depend on the problem.Leave a comment:

thank you
if the form starts breaking down on LP should it be counted as a missed rep or if the rep is completed then keep going on LPLeave a comment:

Hello
I am getting to the point where the workouts on LP are getting tough
I have a question, I saw Jordan's post on social media mentioning not to grind ever reps
Therefore should you wait to fail a set to make smaller weight jumps on LP or should you do it when you start grinding reps?
Thank you for all your helpLeave a comment:
