  • Power cleans in The Bridge

I am on my last week of the Bridge and plan to run it again, but I have yet to attempt power cleans in my lifting career so far (made the mistake of not doing SSLP when I may have still had some novice gains in me, but I am now around intermediate weights). I was wondering if power cleans could be smoothly incorporated into The Bridge. I have finished reading Starting Strength (once) and thought incorporating cleans may benefit my deadlift and power in general.

    Thoughts?

You can do them in place of rows and be the first person in the history of barbell training to sub IN power cleans for rows.

No. I would run the power clean as a novice-type lift and add 2.5-5lbs each week for 5 sets of 3 reps.
