I will be starting the 12 week strength template in 2 weeks. I have arthritis in both shoulders and am looking to either substitute the press or omit the exercise completely. I have no issues with the flat or incline bench. I have tried different press variations such as dumbbells, landmine and machine but always feel pain. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I should have been more descriptive when I said incline bench, I am able to perform a low incline, 15-20 degree angle, anything close to a 45 degree angle produces pain. I should have been more concise with my question, what I am asking is should I substitute the press with a low incline press or do nothing in place of the press because the bench is worked on days 2, 3 and for with regularity. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks
