    Hi,

    Why you program heavy, low-ish rep sets of CGBP in some of your templates?

    I've only seen CGBP bench performed at relatively lower intensity in sets of high reps to stimulate triceps hypertrophy. Your use is new to me and I'm wondering about the reasoning.

    It allows for an accessory bench movement to be loaded heavier at a time when the bench press overall is increasing in intensity. It's a pretty specific accessory movement, so a heavy CG bench provides more heavy bench work and practice. (All fitting with the funnel of specificity)the-double-funnel-of-programming
