Firstly, here’s a background of myself: I’m a 26 year old male that just completed Starting Strength NLP two months ago. After that, I was told by my SSC to take a deload week and move on to the next step: Texas Method (3 day split).
I ran that for 6 weeks and made decent gains, but I’m the type of person that does a lot of research (that’s how I learned about SS) and found out that TM is a suboptimal intermediate program.
So, I asked myself: “What’s next?” Well, once again I started doing a lot of research and discovered about The Bridge.
To be honest, I really like the idea of RPE style of training and I have immense respect for both Dr. Austin & Dr. Feigenbaum. Last but not least, there seem to be a lot of positive reviews regarding The Bridge, so I’d love to give it a try.
Here’s some of my concern though:
1) Are there any in-person coaching available in the Austin, TX area? If no, then next question:
2) There’s a gym called Ignite Fitnez. I was thinking of asking a coach over there but use The Bridge as my preferred program for coaching. Would this be a viable option?
Thanks for reading!
