Y'all should stop worrying about what Jordan does, unless you're Jordan. Lol.

Jordan just looked like an athlete, if you said he was a safety in the NFL based off his look I could believe it.
Take a look at this picture I uploaded. This is what I'm talking about.

Well, Jordan is one of God's chosen people. It only stands to reason he would have a superior physique.

We need to find the person who is telling people that any sort of aesthetic body composition isn't achievable without TRT and stop them. And whoever says you can't achieve anything physically impressive after 30 should be ignored. My wife and I both look better now in our mid 30s than when we were in college.

Sure, I get what you're saying. The muscle mass I do have isn't by accident or happenstance, but it may not be realistic for you to attain with or without anabolics. Alternatively, you may easily surpass me depending on your luck of the draw genetically. Please refrain from posting more pictures of me on my own forum. If I want to post them, I will

I find that most people discussing hormones have no idea what they're talking about and a good rule of thumb is to ignore individuals who aren't endocrinologists or otherwise specially trained.

I've fallen down the rabbit hole of Nattyornot.com. On the one hand, I like that he talks about genetic limits, and that the physique that the magazines sell us are a result of steroids and photoshop. There are a lot of fake natties and natties who look like they have a bit too much fat. The writer of the website is one of those who, no matter how much work he puts into it, will never attain the physique he desires. He calls himself an ectomorph (thin bones, narrow frame).

I agree that's a rabbit hole and something not worth much time or thought. Comparison and trying to find people online to set as a goal can be appealing, but it's not really helpful. That's really the point here. Each and every one of us has to put in an incredible amount of work, regardless of genetics, TRT, whatever. And no one can figure out ahead of time what YOUR physique is going to look like, plus there simply aren't too many people willing to put in the time and consistency to see a notable change. When you listen to people online, remember that there are plenty of them to want something, but they may or may not be intelligently and consistently working for it.. I think it's most important to look at your own training, commitment, life balance and goals, and then keep going, knowing that anyone who has attained something remarkable: in body comp, competition, training, work, whatever, needs to keep their head down and WORK.

Jordan is an elite powerlifter level right? I mean, he has a top 20 total (or had) nationally? It goes without saying that he's probably been training a long time, very focused, with focused nutrition and goals with smart planning and consistency. I would think he would look pretty solid, as he does.

Saying that, from that picture it doesn't look like he's super lean or anything. Like maybe between 12-16% bodyfat? Maybe he hides it well? Obviously he's got some solid genetics too.

I think falling down that rabbit hole without a healthy dose of skepticism is fatalistic and reduces personal progress. A counter argument to the author's personal experience- what if his training and nutrition have just been sub-optimal for his entire career? We know that there are "non responders" to every type of training and nutrition intervention, though typically there are other methods that do work reasonably well for them. Perhaps he's been spending too much time talking about other individuals rather than investing in himself

I've never done a 5x3 routine and don't recommend it. A strength block for me personally looks very different depending on what phase I'm in and would not be appropriate for 99% of folks on this board.
