Assuming that a person can squat equally well with flat shoes vs raised heels would there be any benefit to train each as a separate variation? I usually use heels but one day I forgot my lifting shoes and thought it felt like a good change of pace to squat in flats. I have since taken to using flats on my pause squat day. It's probably 6 to a half dozen but now it's out there.
