  • Finishing PB2

    Hey Team,

I am currently on week 9 of Powerbuilding 2 and have been feeling very fatigued during each session causing my numbers to go down a little bit the past 3 weeks. I have been cutting some weight (about 6lbs in 6 weeks) and plan on staying at that pace until the program is done. I plan on doing powerlifting 2 when I am done with powerbuilding 2. I PL2 right before PB2 and was happy with my improvements on PL2. My numbers on PB2 stayed about the same the last 5 weeks of the program which I think of as a success because I was cutting. I am considering doing a 2-week deload after PB2 before starting PL2 again because I have been feeling so fatigued and want to go into PL2 as fresh as possible. Do you think this is a good idea, and how would you suggest doing it? I am 22 years old, 6'2, 186lbs and my waist is about 32.5 inches. I do not feel the diet is causing me the fatigue because it has not been very challenging at all so far.

    Thank you!

I would probably just do the planned low stress week for PL 2 and not take any additional time off. I agree that your diet is probably non contributory here.
