I recently bought your hypertrophy 1 template and I noticed that every muscle in the body is hit other than calves. Do you ever program calf training for hypertrophy or do you think it's unneccesary and they get hit enough with squat and deadlift variations? If you do, what are your favourite calf exercises? Thanks

I program some calf training in a number of clients, but I didn't want to get carried away in that template given our audience. I don't really have any calf raises I particularly love, but I regularly program seated and standing calf raises depending on the equipment availability and the individual's preferences.Barbell Medicine "With you from bench to bedside"
