  • Gym closed and no home equipment

I was doing the 3-day hypertrophy template and my gym and other surrounding gyms have closed indefinitely. I have no equipment at home I’m thinking of purchasing adjustable dumbbells and some bands. Do you have any recommendations or plan on releasing a pandemic template?

    Thanks

Yea, I'm working on the "at-home" template. You'd be pretty well off with some dumbbells, bands, and a pull-up bar.

Alan Thrall has been posting "gym closed" workout recommendations on his channel recently that require very little, if any, equipment. I think they're definitely worth considering.

The newsletter also went out with a few ideas, template still to be released soon!

Thank you for the newsletter info and for Alan's videos (even if he's doing stuff that I can't think of doing!). I am trying to recall some FB posts on adjustable dumbbells (Dr. Jordan seems to think that those would be reasonable assets). I think I need to own some of those but don't think I need some $350 sets that I see advertised. Are there any recommendations? Thanks.

I don't have experience with these, but if were me I'd be looking for a light set and a heavy set of dumbbells so work with- maybe 25's and 45's or something like that vs. a more expensive set of adjustable dumbbells, though admittedly I have no experience with them. Add in a pull up bar and you'd be in like Flynn.
