So thanks to some friends I have 415 in plates and backpacks with bricks I’m gonna use at the ends of the barbell. Unfortunately I don’t have a squat rack , right now I’m using old plastic bins. I don’t trust it much over 225. If I’m just doing high reps on the squat , could I still approach my deadlift as usual? ( linear periodization/ block periodization) I’m supposed to be in the 80+ % now

Yea, that would work for sure. I'd probably just front squat or something for "strength" and do back squat, +/- some pause or tempo modification for hypertrophy work- despite it not being as cut and dried as this.Barbell Medicine "With you from bench to bedside"

Please keep in mind this isn't the safest setup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzZfpE9sfw8
I'd probably try to connect them at the bottom somehow.
