  • How do you deal with overheating?

On heavy days where I add more weight to the bar, I tend to overheat after my workout, which keeps me up at night. I work out from 12pm-2pm. How do I keep from overheating post-workout? Train less hard?

I'm not sure of the relationship between adding weight to the bar at noon and persistent "overheating" 10+ hours later. I suppose could consider taking a cold shower, use a fan at night, and/or lower the room temperature.

I get a bad inflammatory response. When I take an ibuprofen the depression disappears and overheating stops.

I don't have a good explanation for this, sorry.

It’s probably the exogenous testosterone. Forgot to mention lol.

You are right. Reducing temperature works well for me. It gets awfully hot this time of year. You actually gave me good advice. Thank you.

This is highly unlikely to be contributory.
