Heavy myo reps

To answer this question I'd need something to compare the "heavy" myo-rep to and a specific goal or goals to discuss.
That said, there are relatively wide ranges of intensity and rep ranges that drive strength and hypertrophy outcomes similarly. I wouldn't expect there to be a difference between a myorep with an 8-10 rep activation set and triples vs a 12-15 rep activation set and 3-5 rep back offs.Last edited by Jordan Feigenbaum; 10-28-2021, 04:46 PM.

Heavy myo reps
Hi there - is there any benefit to doing myo reps with a heavier weight, say an ~8 rep activation set followed by sets of triples every 20-30 seconds? Or would the increase in weight but drop in reps not really provide any different benefit to keeping them as they normally are?
