I like that idea! Let us know how it goes.

You can keep running week 12 if you don't want to test, sure.

There are many potential differences in training adaptations between developmental and specialization blocks. You would expect more general strength development, hypertrophy, and conditioning in the dev. block and greater specific strength and skill refinement in the specialization block.

Low fatigue template if no upcoming meet

    Hello,

I just wanted to confirm something that I think I -might' have read on the forums, but I can't seem to find. I have previously used Strength I and II, hypertrophy and PB templates. I am currently on week 11 of the new low fatigue template ( 3 / week low) . If I have no upcoming meet or desire to test my 1rms, can I keep running week 12 of the program until I keep making progress on it?

Also, what should the different training effect be from repeating a developmental week/block vs a specialization block? For example week 6 vs week 12 of 3 day low fatigue template.

    Thank you for any insight.
