  • Adding more cardio to the beginner prescription

    Hi everyone,

    I’m currently on my first week of the beginner progression. I’m wondering if I can incorporate three days of rowing alongside the progression as long as I’m still losing 1-2 lbs a week. My friend wants to do a program called Petes Plan.

    I’m currently 29, 6’2, 224 lbs and a 41 inch waist. I’m trying to lose weight to get around a normal BMI and underneath a 35 inch waist measurement. Thank you!

    Thanks for the post. I think if you hadn't been doing more conditioning before starting the Beginner Prescription, I'd be cautious about rapidly increasing it. That said, if you wanted to work into it over the next 4-weeks, that'd be fine by me.
