I feel like I’ve heard you guys say we shouldn’t train to specifically but also needs to be specific enough. I’m assuming specific means we should practice the specific joint angles and velocities etc.
So two question:
1) how specific is too specific? Ex: we shouldn’t train with a heavy golf club to practice swings or punch with dumbbells to practice boxing.
2) Why wouldn’t we train this way if it is technically specific?
