Currently in the middle of my block periodization program , after I PR I think I’d like to focus a bit more on hypertrophy ( almost summer gotta get more jacked come on) my normal “volume “ block at the beginning of a program is 5 weeks. My question is how long could I stretch that out for without losing strength ? Because after the block I’d like to jump back in to my normal routine.
Also , if I do stretch it longer , do I just add in more sets and reps ? Since for hypertrophy I probably wouldn’t wanna go above say 70 %?
