  • New hypertrophy template

    Just because it hasn't been asked fifty thousand times already.
    Whats the latest? Anybody get an e mail yet? I've only got four months to get jacked for summer!

    oh man, I just bought thinking that was the new one. Well, doc said that everybody who have the hypertrophy template will recieve the new one, hope he didnt changed his mind.

      I think I heard them say, that they've updated the 7 week hypertrophy program. Current owners of that template will get the updated version.

      I'm pretty sure there's then, a new 10 week hypertrophy program. It's separate and different to the 7 week hypertrophy template. It hasn't been released yet.

      The 7 week template has you train 3 times a week. The 10 week template is a 4 times a program. I don't know any other details. Hope that helps.

        Correct, it depends on what you mean by "new" hypertrophy template. There is an updated 7 week hypertrophy template that will be sent out to previous purchasers via email. Though I don't expect any actual programming changes, just cleaning up some of the common complaints and questions with the spreadsheet.

        Then there is the 10 week 4 day per week program which is a new program entirely, and if this is the program you want you will have to purchase it separately.

          The new templates are out! I bought the 4 Day one, it's a 7 week program though. Looks like others have had updates, but I didn't get an email about templates I have previously bought.

            New templates are labeled "2.0" so free updates are looking unlikely.

            Sucks because I just bought the hypertrophy template 2 weeks ago...

            Does anyone know why the 7 week hypertrophy V2.0 3 day version does not include any additional conditiong (like it says) And why there is no "bonus arm work" like in the original?

              Also, weeks 5-7 replaces the 2nd squat variation with more benching, this means I am just squatting and doing something with some quad volume once a week. This can't be right.

              They forgot the arm work on the first one. They fixed it (which broke the spreadsheet in Google) so it's not too much to worry about.

              I don't have the new template but I'd read through the top and other tabs. The conditioning and arm work in the first one is really uncomplicated so it wouldn't surprise me if they're just in the program description or not on the program tab. Not have them down in the actual program would help simplify the layout.

              Yeah, I bet that was a mistake. You could ask to verify in the training forum, but I would bet money that they didn't mean to have db benching in a slot labelled on the sheet as a squat variation, especially since the program on a first quick glance looks pretty much identical otherwise. They do indeed have a bad track record when it comes to spreadsheet errors.

            Looking over the new 4 day hypertrophy template, high bar finally makes an appearance on a template! I knew this was going to happen eventually. It looks pretty solid on first glance. It has a ton of conditioning and GPP work in the later weeks. I'm looking forward to giving it a run later this year. I think this will work much better as a lead into the 12 week strength template than the 3 day.

              Having a few issues with the both the 2.0 hypertrophy and 2.0 12 week strength template. The intro video button appears to only be an image with no hyperlink associated with it. The How to Use on the week1 tab of both 2.0 4-day templates appear to have text meant for the 3 day per week hypertrophy template. The weekly programming tabs are unreadable on my phone with google sheets where previously the bridge 2.0, HLM and old hypertrophy template worked just fine. It looks like there may be page breaks causing it to break the sheet up into multiple vertical and horizontal pages which all shrink when you try to zoom out and read the one page that has content. Anyone else experiencing this?

                High bar was actually an option in the Press template as well! I haven't really tried high bar yet, so will have to see how I go on this template.

                The intro video from the Welcome tab is the same video from the last batch of templates so not missing out on much. Link works for me in the 4 Day Hypertrophy.

                Yep, if you downloaded it straight to your phone and only have sheets to open it, it's basically impossible to navigate/see, and you can't really mess around with settings on mobile sheets. What I ended up doing was opening it on a desktop (still difficult to easily navigate due to the page break/freezed panes, but not impossible) and went View -> Freeze Panes-> Unfreeze Panes. You have to do this for each tab, and reupload it to your google drive and then it's readable on your phone.

                And while we're discussing issues, it's pretty disappointing that most of the information on the Help tab is copy/pasted from the old templates. The RPE examples don't apply anymore. I think since their programming podcast and answering a few questions over and over again on the forum, there could have been some adjustments made to pre-emptively address any confusion. There's also typos they could have fixed from previous templates. And the "About Intensity Tab" doesn't have any information? lol.

                    I posted in the training forums about the new templates (3 day hyperetophy atleast) and Jordan said there was a few bugs, and that new copies will be sent out over the weekend to everyone wh bought them.
