For a four day program, do you guys find it makes a difference whether you do it Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday? Or Monday Wednesday Friday Saturday? Personally, since the templates usually have comp squat on day 1 and comp dead on day 2, I like to train Monday Wednesday Friday Saturday. That way I have a day between my comp squat and comp dead days instead of having to deadlift the day after I squat. Then I'll do gpp on Tuesday and Thursday. Is there any reason why the BBM crew recommend Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday then? Does it make a difference?

In the grand scheme it makes little difference. The reason why they put them back to back is for competitors, who have to be used to squatting, deadlifting, and benching close together. You will not get better or worse gainzZz by what rest days you choose to take. The important part is just that you get the total work done for the week.

I've done both. Generally I prefer M/Tu/Th/Fr as I lift early in the morning before work and I just like the routine. But I also did months of Tu/Th/Sa/Su, and on that one Saturday was heavy comp squat day and Sunday was heavy comp DL day.
All that really matters is getting your training in. I think literally any 4 day combination in the 7 day week would produce the same results in the long run, with maybe a slight downgrade on 4 days on/3 days off, and even that I would expect to be slight.
