Everytime I switch a template I feel like I lose strength.
i went from deadlifting 440 for [email protected] on the 7 week hypertrophy and doing most working sets at 8 with 435.
i just switched back to the 12 week strength and I'm on the 2nd week doing 380 for 5x5 @8....a 55lb difference and its crazy heavy. Was I just overshooting rpe or are my deload weeks killing me?
i know a lot of this could be mental but I physically cant move these heavy weights. I usually hit 495x1 for a single at 8 and it felt like rpe10 today
Edit: I do know strength isn't linear and that towards the end of a template I'm stronger than in the beginning but I feel as though I'm not making long term progress here
