  • I ordered general leathercraft's belt and one thing i really hate

is that spd clip thing, instead of a regular belt and hole setup. The reason? A belt should tighterened to different lengths for the squat vs higher for the deadlift no? I can't unscrew and readjust in the gym. How do guys like Baraki who train with this, deal with this?

Trying to interpret what you're saying, it seems you got a lever belt instead of a buckle. General Leathercraft makes both kinds.

Yea, that's one downside to a lever belt. It probably doesn't bother people who don't wear it differently per lift and\or don't change sizes all that often. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have a general leathercraft lever belt, and I love it. They make single and double prong belts too, like Alan Thrall's micro-adjustable single prong.

I setlled on a tightness I liked, and I use it for everything. I don't have to crank down until the very last thing before I lift, so it's only uncomfortable for a minute.

Baraki's belt is an SBD with a super crazy funky buckle that allows it to lever in any hole. They're pretty sweet, but pretty spendy (like, probably the most expensive belt out there).

This video compares many lifting belts.

And this one talks a lot about the SBD

You should've thought about that before buying a lever belt, that's why I recently purchased their Stock Power Belt which is single prong and has holes every 0.5 inches so I won't have any problem to find the right tightness for all my lifts. As GoWolfpack said, if you want a lever belt that's easy adjustable then you should've got the SBD belt.

Nope. Sell it to recoup some of your investment if you really hate it.

If you're gonna return it, make sure to get the Pionner cut which has holes every 0.5inch, I bought their stock ppwerlpowerl belt and I'm waiting for the arrival.
