  • LBBS Form Check

    Hello guys.

Just wanted a quick form check for my LBBS (I just recently went back to LBBS from HBBS as my comp. squat as I start Powerbuilding I). Here's a set of [email protected]: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HloC...ature=youtu.be

Is my depth convincing? As far as I can tell, I broke parallel by a slight amount. If I go any lower, I'll lose that tight bounce and get all loose.

    Thanks!

I thought the set looked outstanding. Depth looked fine to me.

Yeah looks pretty good to me! Your back angle might be a TOUCH too vertical but this varies with anthropometry and very common with high bar squatters. Keep it up though and buy a belt

Thanks guys! I was used to squatting ATG using high bar, so I need to reset my perception on what "below parallel" is.

Yeah, I can see that. But, this back angle seems to be the sweet spot for me to distribute the work evenly among my quads, hips, and back while allowing me to look forward (I prefer looking forward than looking slightly down). I may experiment with a more leaned-over back angle in the future though. Let's see how that works.

I wouldn't over-extend the back like that. Try to stack the ribs more on the abs to create a more neutral back throughout the whole movement.
Drive more with the quads. Push your feet trough the floor when coming out of the hole.
