    Currently on week 4 of hypertrophy I. I’m new to sumo deadlifting so Id appreciate some feedback. This is 8 @7-8 with 117.5 kg on the bar.

    You're basically doing a conventional deadlift with a sumo stance. You need to try to lock down your lats and get your chest up a bit more, as well as anchor your hips and wedge them into the bar to initiate the pull. There are plenty of videos on YouTube that show how to wedge/anchor better than I can explain it.

      Appreciate the advice! I see what you mean. I feel I’m stronger in deadlifting than in squatting and to pull sumo with correct technique and with the same weight I’d need stronger legs.
