I didn't record any cardio last week, but I guess I'll start doing it. I'm doing one day of LISS for now. Incline treadmill walk. The treadmill is a Precor, and today I used the 10.0 incline setting. It goes to 15.0, so this is 67%. For 50 minutes, the speed was 2.5, and I increased it to 3.0 in the final 10 minutes. There is also a cool down period of 5:00 where the incline comes down to 0.0.
Didn't have my normal carbs at breakfast or lunch today, and I think that explains the failure on the final set of bench. I'm also not regulating the rest times between sets very well, and I may have attempted the final set too early. But of course, as my cut continues, I'll experience lots of failures. It's just inevitable when you need to lose like 60 lbs.
Bench has hit the wall. Happens when I cut. For me, bench is the most sensitive to changes in caloric intake. Deadlift is the least, and squat and press are somewhere in between. I anticipate that my bench won't get above 205 until my cut finishes, in like 9 months or so.
Finally got 3x5 with 205 on bench. A couple months ago, had gotten 210, but was having trouble now that I'm cutting. Will probably microload from here on out. Deadlift was tougher than I had hoped. May have to decrease frequency to twice every three weeks. Or maybe incrementing by 5s will do the trick. Hadn't pulled more than ~330 for about 4 years until recently, so this feels less like re-training and more like training anew.
