My thoughts on credentials revolve around the skill set acquired over the process of obtaining the credential and/or the potential revenue increase from the credential/association. Unfortunately, the credential you were asking about no longer develops a highly useful skill, as it has become much more dogmatic and the evolution of the brand has regressed substantially. A few specific examples of skills required for to obtain/retain the skill set that are flawed:
1) The entirety of the programming information
2) The pathoanatomical model of pain
3) Mechanisms for hypertrophy
The business opportunity there is appealing at face value for newer coaches, as there is some income increase that is realized early on (likely). However, this comes at the detriment to developing one's own brand, business model, infrastructure, while also hitching your wagon to a group of people who may or may not represent your values (or your business' values). What's more, if you decide to change your idea about anything.....you're likely to be kicked out.
So, I don't think it's worth it at this time. I am hopeful for change in the future.
