    My knee is regressing daily, and I am not a happy camper. I cannot generate any force out of the left leg under "heavy" load.
    With any luck maybe it will just be a matter of working with lighter loads for a while. I'll keep my gnarly old fingers crossed for you.

    So, 2021 is starting off WONDERFULLY (/s).

    My knee is regressing daily, and I am not a happy camper. I cannot generate any force out of the left leg under "heavy" load.

    To have been almost back to "normal" at the beginning of November, only to find myself here...well to say it's disappointing is a gross understatement.

    I've got a call in to Austin to see what the next step(s) should be. I hope that the BBM physios can work me through this, but I fear I'm going to end up on the table (again).

    You know, I've had my fill of doctors over that last year... #justsayin

    Cycle 7 Week Three reps / sets

    Squat - 115kg 1*4
    Bench - 65kg 5*5
    Deadlift - 165kg - 1*3
    Hi Row - #10 12*3
    Hammer Curl - 50lbs 12*3

    Two weeks out from Mustache Mayhem, and my left knee feels like shit. I'll make it through the meet, but I'm gonna have to have this looked at by the BBM physios or an Orthopod.

    Anyway, I'm still putting in the work as best I can at the moment. Me and my good friend Aleve are gonna get wild...

    There's not enough of a training base behind me at the moment to have expectations of much more come meet day. That said, I think I can be within 10% of my Chicago total, and I'm ok with that.

    First pulls from the floor in a lonnnnng time. Back held up well, but I'm babying the initiation of the pull. I'd like to be a bit more explosive off the floor. It'll come in time, I just need more opportunities to feel good, and not feel like something is going to blow up on me.

    The warm-ups felt like shite. The singles however, were solid. I was so focused on the task at hand that I forgot to load 95kg and ended up doing another single at 90kg...it was a really good single too!

    Might not get to train tomorrow due to appointments, and then having the gym close early for Christmas.

    I have to say I've given up on the hook grip for now. Back to a mixed grip for my heavy warm-ups and work sets.

    Wagon Wheel Pulls - 135kg 1*3

    SBD Saturday's are @ RPE 7 through the meet in January.

    I've lost my Squat mojo...WAH!
    Bench was more disciplined...YAY!
    Pulls were painless...well, I mean my back felt great...not sure about the hook grip?!?!

    Oooh, and no belt for any of the work. That's a first in ages.
