    GPP Endurance Week 4, Day 2


    LISS Cardio: 30 minute run/RPE 7 - 4.71 km (almost the same ground covered as last week, but 5 fewer minutes)

      GPP Endurance Week 4, Day 3


      Dead Lift: 325 x 2 @ 6; 375 x 1 @ 7.5; 390 x 1 @ 8.5 (maybe 9); 340 x 4 @ 8.5 (avg, last set was a 9)

      2-Count Paused Bench: 165 x 8 @ 7; 175 x 8 @ 7.5; 185 x 8 @ 9; 175 x 8 @ 8.5; 155 x 6 @ 9 (I think I was pretty tapped out by the dead lift intensity and maybe sleep - fatigue really got the best of me as the sets went along, I may need to dial back next week and read my RPE better).

      Pendlay Rows: 135 x 6 x 6 (See fatigue comment above)


      390 is the highest I've dead lifted in almost 3 years (pre-accident). Approaching my 405 PR, but it appears that may still be some time away. I think I overshot a little - and dead lift in general really takes a lot out of me.

        HIIT C2 Rower:

        3 minute slow warmup,

        30-sec sprint, 90-sec rest x 10. Avg time / 500 meters = 1:38.9 (slightly better than last week)

        3 minute slow cooldown.

          GPP Endurance Week 4, Day 5


          Bench Press: 225 x 2 @ 7; 265 x 0 @ 10 (Fail), after letting the weight fall off one side and then the other, set my pride aside and dropped 10% to hit RPE properly.

          240 x 1 @ 8; 225 x 4 @ 8 x 4. So my numbers were better on the 4-rep. Not sure what happened on the failed single, but probably didn't set or prepare properly.

          2-Count Paused Squat: 165 x 8 @ 6, 175 x 8 @ 7; 190 x 8 @ 8 x 3 (Missed the programming step down to what were supposed to be 6-rep working sets).

          Pull-ups: AMRAP 7 minutes: 21 reps total, 3 max.

              Chin Ups: 6 minutes AMRAP - 23 total - 5 max

                LISS Cardio: 30 minute run/RPE 7. Tried to do this with a migraine (I get migraines from time to time from an auto accident, but I've never tried to train through one). I lasted about 12 minutes before I had to stop and live to train another day. 12 minutes - 1.93 km
