    I was pretty sore today from those 11 pull ups yesterday. Also, I swung a sledge hammer a bunch today breaking up a concrete footing, so that was a bit of a workout.

              Trying to trim some gut fat, yes. Should be lifting more, but I'm lazy.

            Deadlift: 215 10

            All mixed grip. Last time I deadlifted, my form was a little shaky. Took a little weight off today because of that, and also because it had been 15 days since I deadlifted. Today form was solid, but I have to say: 10 reps on the deadlift just feels like an eternity. Almost too much. Might start doing 8's or 5's again.

                Starting to finally get the intensity up on the jump rope, as I’m able to jump faster now. It’s taken some time to get to that point of having better technique that allows it.

                      Yes, cleaned into position with a crappy barbell. I deloaded a bit this workout because I hadn't done them in awhile.

                    Shit been crazy lately with COVID.

                    Jump rope 9x

                    I was at my new house using a new jump rope, so everything was fucked up. By the last few intervals, I started to get the hang of it. But early intervals were not as intense as they needed to be.

                      First workout since getting COVID in early-mid November. Symptoms didn’t really end until close to the end of November. At the YMCA. First time back-squatting since Feb. or March. Tweaked my neck after first set of pull ups, so I didn’t do any more. Not sure of my body weight right now.

                        Forgot to weigh in. I should do that one of these days, since it's been awhile. Not sure if they even have the scale out at the Y.
                        Tried to force myself not to go hog wild with the weight today and 'ease' back into it. Deadlift and press felt quite good. I feel weak on pull ups. Felt a slight tweak in my upper right back on warm up sets for deadlift, but nothing that got worse as I went. Very minor.
