Squat was a real grind. Didn't eat much before lifting having had church all morning. Press is waning as my frequency wanes. Surprised how much I've lost on it since a PR on 115 a couple weeks ago. I think this bad cold really affected me as well.
Deadlift was very difficult. Bench was tough, but no spotter. Feel like I can go up from here. Pull ups felt weak just because I haven't been doing them as much.
First time in the gym in 2 weeks. Feels like a lot longer. Surprised how the squat maintained. Felt good. Deadlift felt like it suffered more from the time away. No weigh-in. I was at a different Y.
Lost a little weight perhaps. We'll see with a few more weigh-ins. Bench was tough, but happy to get 175 after so much time off. Squat was weird. I was still pretty sore from Monday. And 240 felt like a ton. I seriously wonder if the weights at the other gym where I went on Monday are lighter. Ended up doing a half real, half light squat day.
Squat was tough, but manageable. I meant to press 110, but my warm ups were feeling so difficult that I ended up pressing 105, same as last time. I barely succeeded. Felt worse than last week. I was a little rushed and distracted talking to a guy in the gym who follows starting strength. No weigh-in.
