I’ve downloaded the 4 week time crunch template.
I see that the pressing volume & frequency is higher than the bench press frequency.
Am I reading this right, that the S-B1 is a press and not a bench-press?
I actually don’t like pressing that much, so I’m going to go for the suggested style of BP instead.
Any specific reason I shouldn’t do this?
It’s designed specifically to minimize the time needed to change equipment in a busy gym.
It’s only four weeks, so I wouldn’t worry about it.
you’re of course free to do whatever you’d like, and any BP variation you’d do would be fine there.
Another consideration to think of is, at least in my experience, my press detrains significantly even if I just back off the volume for a few short weeks. My bench usually holds up just fine during lower volume phases. I’m not sure how your body reacts, but this is at least some food for thought.
