I was just curious if there is a realistic goal for gaining lean mass on the 7 week hypertrophy template or if it’s too subjective. I know it obviously depends on food intake but didnt know if you had a recommended goal for the end of 7 weeks. I’d like to put on 10lbs or so but dont want to gain too much fat in the process and just dont know if this is realistic in 7 weeks. Thanks for all you do for the strength community!

It’s not possible to provide a useful target number for the entire population. It’s not even that it’s “subjective”, but rather that everyone will have a different response to the program, and would have different proportions of LBM vs. BF gain. So saying, for example, that “everyone can expect to gain X lbs of LBM during this program” would be 1) completely made up, and 2) inaccurate. I don’t think anyone would argue that it’s possible to gain 10 lbs in 7 weeks … we just can’t predict what the composition of that 10 lbs would be. Hopefully this makes sense.
