Just dropping in for a bench and DL form check. I’m on week 3 of the beginner Rx (I used to lift before though so I’m getting back into things post covid)
Bench: bar was a bit wobbly, I think because it’s an Intek Olympic lifting bar. Not a stiff bar.
Based off bar speed, the RPE should be low. But I kept it at 7 because of the wobbly bar and being afraid to attempt more than 3 reps without a spotter.

I feel like most of my energy is taken away in step 3 where I set my back. Even with all that energy expenditure, I get my back barely into neutral position. This worsens as reps progress within a set. Here it’s only 4 rep, but the 10 rep sets are tough.
