Second time I’ve (most likely…) broken my toe via plate droppage. I’m clumsy.

Obviously each specific case is different, but in general what would BBM recommend?

Im seeing conflicting info on immobilizing the foot as much as possible, rest RICE and limit activity, don’t take NSAIDs, etc etc

I was going to try and lift through it as much as I can tolerate. Is this stupid? If cardio makes the pain better can I continue or should I really focus on keeping it immobilized ?

Unfortunately we can’t give specific advice for your situation here, and we don’t know the type/extent/severity of fracture. A consultation with a member of our rehab team may be worthwhile to address your concerns if you are not seeing a healthcare professional locally.
