# Bursting of blood vessels in my face - should I be concerned?

Hey BB Medicine Crew!

After benching today, I noticed I had burst quite a few blood vessels in the area between my eyes, the bridge of my nose, and about an inch under my left eye. It was a pretty heavy day for me, it has happened before but never with this level of severity. Is this anything to be concerned about?

Usually not; this is quite common.

However, if these kinds of rashes or bruising/bleeding occur spontaneously outside the context of training, get checked out.
