Should you stop powerlifting with a Calcium score of 300?
Assuming a person does not have no symptoms with exertion (chest pain, disproportionate shortness of breath, etc.), a calcium score of 300 would NOT be a reason to discontinue any form of exercise, powerlifting included. This can contribute to meeting the resistance training component of the physical activity guidelines.
It is, however, a reason to focus on a variety of health-related factors, as well as blood pressure and blood lipids.
