I have a question regrading drinking whey protein.
Every time after i drink my whey protein, i notice the accumulation of mucus in my throat is more than usual and it is hard to spit it out.
I don’t really have a high amount of sugar intake in my daily basis and even if i do, for example if i drink a can of soda, i can spit the mucus our pretty easily.
Is it the whey protein itself or am i sensitive to the artificial flavorings?
If that is the case, should i choose the whey protein that is unflavored?

I’m not sure if those symptoms reliably tell you if you are sensitive to anything, though it seems odd that it is “hard to spit out” if it’s mucus.
You might try an unflavored whey to see if that’s any better.
