An athlete at the gym told us that her doctor diagnosed her with Exercise Induced Hypertension. I had not heard of this before and I did not find a lot of information but did find one link Hypertensive response to exercise: mechanisms and clinical implication - PMC
Based on what I read, as someone without a medical background, it seems that on whether to treat this condition is still debated. I also did not dig through the rabbit hole of cited articles/studies either. Does anyone have experience on having an athlete with this diagnosed condition, and are there any recommend modifications to an exercise program that should be considered?
Thanks in advance.
