Goblet Squats 8-12 @ RPE 8.

My only option for loading these are homemade plate loadable dumbbells, which even up to 85lbs I’m still maxing out the reps. However it’s uncomfortable to hold.
Should I increase number of lower weight warm up sets to hope to help get more fatigue in so maybe I don’t have to increase the weight as much to get to RPE 8?
But then I don’t want to spend all day on one exercise.
I know there are alternatives in the program and I was leaning towards Hack Squat but I was wondering when you list hack squat are you talking about a Hack Squat machine or a barbell hack squat which seems like a deadlift with the bar behind you?
Lastly, would a front squat also be a good alternative?

I probably wouldn’t do goblet squats in this slot if it can’t be loaded efficiently. For the hack squat version, I’m referring to the machine. I think the front squat is likely to be a bit too fatiguing in this slot. I’d favor a split squat, step up, or machine-based exercise, if possible.
