Hey guys. I’ve dieted down and I’m as lean as I’d care to get at this point. Now it’s time to slowly gain some muscle! I’ve heard you say in a few Q&As that for lean body mass it’s a good idea to shoot for 1-2kg a month to avoid gaining too much fat at the same time. This plan sounds perfect. Just wondering if the goal during this approach would be to keep waist circumference the same while watching the scale slowly climb?
Thanks!
Kyle
For the most part, yes. That said, your waist will probably increase some over time as you gain more and more weight. In other words, it’s unlikely that you can 10kg of mass without any increase in your waist measurement.
You have to maintain a balanced diet, according to your body type. There are 3 types (you can find on google information about this), and depending on which type are you, your diet should contain more proteins, if you gain fat easily, or more carbs, if you have a hard time to gain some weight.
