Lockout order of operation

Is the order of the lockout always
knees->hips->back
vs
hips->knees->back?

I feel like im more apt to do the latter when my feet are closer together?

I’m curious about this too, I’ve lately developed the bad habit of locking knees last on very heavy sets. Wondering what a good cue might be.

Are we talking about the deadlift? I guess it would go knees then, following pretty closely are the hips but I don’t really think of the lift that way. You’d only need to extend your back if it’s in some amount of flexion.

I think it’s best to focus on locking out everything at once.
